NOVEMBER 2003 TIP OF THE MONTH

Question:
How do I find and move all of my music I have collected?

Answer:
IntelliMover™ has a couple of ways to solve this problem.

  1. The easiest way to get your music library transferred is to allow IntelliMover to search your system during the query process and find the file types associated with your music and you can ensure they are selected for transfer.

  2. Another method to gather and move this library quickly would be to use the File Transfer Utility. If you know the type of music file it is, MP3s, in Music Match, RealOne, Windows Media Player, etc, you can search for the file extensions and move these files individually. You can control where the music will be stored and how it will be accessed.
  • The music files can be transferred quickly and easily so you can enjoy your music library on your new machine.

  • You will be able to back up and restore your music between your 2 machines in a network environment using the USB or Parallel cable.

  • The music can be re-filed in the same way as on the old machine so it feels like your audio home.

  • This solves how people use their new machines with CD-burners, CDR’s, MP3 Players but don’t have a solution on how to get there music from their old machine.

  • IntelliMover is neutral on music formats and will move all versions of music regardless of what program or format they are in.
