Mail2Mac transfers email from Outlook to Mac/Apple Mail. Mail2Mac does not transfer contacts or calendar items into Apple/Mac Mail because these items are used by different programs on the Mac.
- Does Mail2Mac transfer from Outlook to Entourage?
Mail2Mac transfers email, address book, and calendar items from Outlook to Entourage.

Mail2Mac will not transfer Outlook Express emails. Mail2Mac will only transfer Outlook accounts. In order to transfer Outlook Express emails, please purchase Move2Mac.
- How does Mail2Mac work?
Mail2Mac converts your Outlook email account into a Mac-compatible format and then will import the files into your Apple/Mac Mail or Entourage account.

- Can I use Mail2Mac for migrations on more than one computer?
A single user license of Mail2Mac allows multiple migrations from one, and only one, specific PC to any number of Macs. To migrate from another PC requires an additional copy of Mail2Mac. Volume license packs of Mail2Mac are available.
- I have inserted the Mail2Mac CD in my computer and it does not auto-run. What do I do?
For installation on the PC, please:
- Ensure that you have local administrator rights if you are running on Windows XP or Windows Vista.
- Insert the Mail2Mac CD-ROM into the CD-ROM Drive on the PC.
- Please go into MY COMPUTER and double-click the Mail2Mac CD. Look for the file called "Mail2Mac-Setup.exe". Double-click the icon to launch the setup program.
For installation on the Mac, please:
- Insert the Mail2Mac CD-ROM into the CD-ROM Drive on the Mac.
- Open the Mail2Mac CD from the desktop, then double click on Mail2Mac.dmg.
- How do I buy Mail2Mac?
Please visit our Mail2Mac buy page and choose between downloading Mail2Mac or ordering the CD.
- What is the process for running Mail2Mac and transferring my email from PC to Mac?
- Mail2Mac will create a "PC Migration" folder on the PC desktop.
- Transfer this folder to the Mac desktop using a CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, USB drive or Network connection.
- Mail2Mac will then import the "PC Migration" folder into the Apple/Mac Mail or Entourage client.
- What are the system requirements?
- Microsoft® Windows® XP or Vista
- up to 5 GB hard disk space
- 32MB RAM
- AC Adaptor (for notebooks)
- Mac OS X 10.2 (Jaguar) and later
- Are repeat migrations allowed with Mail2Mac?
Repeat migrations are allowed with Mail2Mac.
Please note: Repeat migrations may cause data duplication.
- Will Mail2Mac transfer my settings stored in Outlook?
Mail2Mac will transfer the Outlook settings into Apple/Mac Mail and Entourage.
- Why does the PC Migration folder take so long to populate?
The PC Migration folder may take a large amount of time to populate if the Outlook email account is very large (1-4 GB). Also, this process may freeze if the computer attempts to Sleep or Hibernate during the transfer.
- How do I get my Communicator or Eudora email over to the Mac?
The Communicator or Eudora email must be imported into Outlook first, using the File -> Import feature. Mail2Mac will then transfer the Outlook account to the Mac.
- Can I use Mail2Mac to migrate through my network?
The "PC Migration" folder may be transferred from the PC to Mac through the network. Mail2Mac will not run over the network and transfer the email account automatically.
- Why did Mail2Mac not properly transfer my email and settings into Entourage?
Currently the Mail2Mac product may have difficulty importing into some Entourage clients. Please visit the Mail2Mac support section for in-depth resolutions to this issue.
- Does Mail2Mac move files back and forth between Outlook and Entourage/Mac Mail?
Mail2Mac will only move email accounts from the PC to the Mac.
- Can I migrate between two Macs?
Currently the Mail2Mac product will only support migrations from a PC to a Mac.
- Does Mail2Mac migrate my Outlook address book and POP3 settings over?
Mail2Mac will move the Outlook address book into the Mac Address Book, and will move the Outlook POP3 settings into Mac Mail.
