Detto Technologies partners with America's #1 USB connectivity vendor Keyspan on Move2Mac™

Partnership enables PC users to Move to the Mac® on fastest transport in the industry

PARIS, FRANCE - September 10, 2002-In conjunction with Apple Expo Paris, Detto Technologies announced today that it has partnered with America's #1 USB connectivity vendor, Keyspan*, on Move2Mac, its upcoming migration solution that allows PC users to migrate to the Apple Macintosh®. Move2Mac, a winner of Best of Macworld New York 2002, enables PC users to quickly and easily move personal information from a Windows-based PC to a Mac. Detto can be found at Paris Apple Expo Booth #B74.

Detto will leverage Keyspan's unique transportation layer and expertise on the Mac platform to develop Move2Mac. Keyspan will also provide Detto with a Parallel-to-USB cable for Move2Mac customers moving from Windows® 95 PCs and PCs with no USB port. Keyspan's expertise in transport connectivity for the Mac marketplace, combined with Detto's expertise in PCs and data transfer technology will provide PC users with the only viable migration solution to switch to the Mac.

"Because the PC to Mac migration process has been known to be a difficult process, it was important for us to choose a connectivity vendor that intimately knows the Mac and is a trusted name in the Mac community," said Larry Mana'o, CEO of Detto Technologies. "Detto's expertise in the PC Market and Keyspan's expertise in the Mac market gives Move2Mac users the confidence that their information will be safely and seamlessly migrated from their PC to their new Mac."

"We partnered with Detto Technologies because our retail partners tell us that Apple's "switch" campaign has been successful in getting more PC users to purchase a Mac," said Mike Ridenhour, president of Keyspan. "Detto's Move2Mac solution is the first solution in the marketplace to simplify the task of switching platforms."
