How to burn the WipeDrive CD

These instructions will help you to burn the downloadable ISO version of the WipeDrive CD image to a CD-R. These instructions and screenshots were made for Nero 6.0 Ultra Edition. The steps should be similar for other versions of Nero and is a general guide for how to do the same in other applications.

Step 1

Download the ISO file to your hard drive. It will be called wipedrive.iso.

(Note: popular file decompressors like WinRAR or WinZip may associate the file as a compressed file. Don't try to open it in those programs, follow these directions instead).

Step 2

Start Nero Burning ROM. This is usually found under Start | Programs | Nero 6 Ultra Edition | Nero Burning ROM

The following screen appears as you first open Nero:

Click Cancel on the 'New Compilation' Window.

Click on File | Open...

Navigate to the directory where you saved the ISO file.

Change the 'Files of type' dialog to "Image Files" as shown in the image below:

Select the ISO file:

Keep all the default settings in the next window and click on 'Burn'.

Step 6

The CD will now begin to be written:

When the burn is complete you will get a window like below, click OK.

Step 8

Click on Done in the window.

Your CD will eject automatically and your CD is finished.
